Botanical Grounds
Make your own botanical motifs with a bouquet of flowers and some leaves. Hand write the name of the type of flowers in the bottom of the ornament made. Very flat items such as leaves, can also be secured between two pieces of glass, or using the technique described in the following paragraph. The dried branches in three dimensions, can be put inside a cardboard box with bright colors.
Color Copies
Do you take time to dissect flowers or group? Then take them to a library that has color copier, along with a clean white cardboard (or colored, if you prefer), and make a color photocopy of the flower, green leaf or bouquet of roses. Then frame the color photocopy. This works best with flat items, as the thicker will cause shadows. This procedure is also a great way to capture the wonderful colors of autumn leaves.
