The Curtains | Formal and informal styles
The curtains can be as different as the owners of the houses where they are placed. Beyond the variety of fabrics, colors, lengths and methods of hanging, all styles of curtains can be classified into formal and informal.
Formal hedges usually called “drapes” and fall into layers. They are commonly found in living rooms, living rooms and formal dining or classic. The curtain is normally made in two or three layers. The first is the thin layer, which consists of a simple panel thin linen or lace that allows entry of stray light in the environment. Types of Curtains
There are three basic types of curtains: the panels, the coffee and bands. Panel curtains are simple rectangles of fabric with hems at both ends. Suspended from the top of the window by rings or hooks and natural folds fall, giving the window a less formal appearance. Commonly used in bedrooms and dining rooms and can be combined with shutters, blinds or bajocortinas. Usually brown curtains hang from the center of the window, leaving the top exposed.
Sometimes these curtains can be placed at one quarter or one third of the top of the window to give it a different style. In any case, can be collected. They are widely used in kitchens and casual dining. The third type is the strip curtains. They consist of multiple panels: one or two are hanging over the two base panels. Curtains to dress your house
The role of curtains have changed. Previously used to keep warm in the house, block cold air, protect the interior from sunlight and provide privacy. Fulfill these functions yet, but with advances in the design of windows and window shades are now more decorative than functional. This allows decorators to be more creative in dealing with the windows.
