Plants for Balconies
There is no doubt that the growth of plants and flowers in a garden balcony are a great way to beautify our outdoor spaces.
A balcony can look good only with pots of plants of different varieties, colors and designs. You need to define what you want from your garden balcony and then go buy your plants and planting.
First, make sure your balcony structure can support the weight. Most of the balconies of the apartments can handle containers and vessels, however, if of wood can not support very large and heavy pots. Resin pots that exist today are very light and ideal for balconies and terraces.
Second, check the microclimate of the terrace or balcony. Note wind direction and sun during the day. Some balconies are well protected and do not receive direct sunlight, while others are fully exposed and take direct sun all day.
Many plants do not get much rain balcony, as they are under an awning or covered by the balcony above. In this case, make sure the pots are kept moist and watered the plants every day.
