Correcting Errors in The Wallpaper
When we look a beautiful wallpaper or wallpaper on our walls, we solve many of our issues decor and ambiance. Today, the market offers different types of wallpaper, from the conventional to sophisticated, made of silicone and plastic materials that they accept simply be washed and cleaned, and whose implementation is very simple.
But we have given more care to the placement or maintenance of the wallpaper on the walls of our home, sometimes it happens that bubbles, blemishes, stains, or tears that achieve spoil the whole atmosphere. Fortunately we have some simple tips that can be used to correct these common errors in the wallpaper.
The first recommendation, and a very important of course, is that when you purchase the wallpaper, always buy an extra roll. Keep this stuff will allow you to replace blades that have flaws, or even patching by sector, cutting the damaged piece of paper and putting in place a cut roll reserve.
To do this, we mark the sector (neatly, and following the design to hide the patch) and a cutter, utility knife or scalpel, cut out the sector and remove it, moistening it with white vinegar mixed with warm water to make it easier to task.
Then, we cut the same figure the original roll and adhere to the wall, remembering always have kept in the refrigerator at least two hours before, to prevent shrinkage upon drying.
If the glue dries the wallpaper started to exhibit bubbles, we can solve them easily. We let it dry completely, so it is already smooth, and then perform a cross-shaped cut on each bubble. Apply glue to adhere paper and return these small areas of paper, one corner at a time, trying to keep the design in this cross cut.
If the wall had pictures hung and want to replace the paper, we put sticks in the holes of each box, and placing the paper, use chopsticks to make a drill through it with a toothpick. After it has dried properly, we can enlarge the hole with a cutter or a screw, to show the pictures without problems.
If, however, decided to put a picture on paper and placed, can do so without fear of damaging the paper. After having been allowed to dry properly (if new paper), we help with a utility knife or cutter to make a small hole in the form of T in the place where we want to put the nail or screw. Lift corners that form in the T, to make room for the wick of the drill. To minimize dirt, we place a sheet of paper or open an envelope under the punch, to go trapping the loose powder.
Then, plug Fischer, and re-attach the corners of paper to the wall, or left folded to preserve the forms, and we will be a perfect hole with no cracks or tears.
